Welcome to Forerunner Books!

Forerunner is an evangelistic outreach with the desire of bringing the fullness of the Orthodox Christian Faith to the people of Reno, NV as well as the surrounding area. We were commanded by Our Lord in the Scriptures to "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19,20).

In our 20 years of existence this is what we have done and what we continue to do. Our doors are opened to all inquirers and seekers of authentic, ancient Christianity. "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear" (1Peter 3:15). This is the essence of Christianity. In gaining this joy, it is no good unless we can share it with others.
